The Bracken County Polar Bears defeated the Augusta Panthers 8-1 today in the semifinal game of the 39th District Tournament at Mason County.
The Polar Bears improved their record to 16-9. The Panthers finished their season with a 8-15 record.
Bracken County will play Mason County in the championship game Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
Mason County is the No. 1 seed in the three-team district and received a bye into the championship game.
