Lady Royals beat Fleming County and Lewis County in Senior Night tr-match

The Mason County Lady Royals celebrated Senior Night by defeating the Fleming County Lady Panthers and the Lewis County Lady Lions in a tri-match at Laurel Oaks Golf Course Wednesday.

The Lady Royals finished with a team score of 179, followed by the Lady Panthers (198) and the Lady Lions (216).

It was the final home match of the season. A dinner was held after the match to honor seniors Morgan Parker and Maura Hartman.

Lady Royals win tri match at Laurel Oaks

The Mason County Lady Royals won a home tri-match against Fleming County and Lewis County at Laurel Oaks Golf Course Wednesday.

Mason County had a team score of 182, followed by Fleming County at 211 and Lewis County with a score of 221.

Morgan Parker led the Lady Royals with a 43. Bentley Shepherd carded a 45 and Sydney Ullery and Maura Hartman each shot a 47.

Fleming County senior Sadie Price was the medalist with a 40.

Lady Royals win a quad match at Fleming County

The Mason County Lady Royals golf team traveled to Flemingsburg Monday and won a quad match.

The Lady Royals had a team score of 185, followed by Fleming County (191), Nicholas County (219) and Lewis County (227).

Morgan Parker led Mason County with a 45. Bentley Shepherd and Sydney Ullery each shot a 46 and Maura Hartman carded a 48.

Lady Royals win tri-match vs. Fleming County and Lewis County

The Mason County Lady Royals won a tri-match against Fleming County and Lewis County Monday at Laurel Oaks Golf Course.

Mason County finished with a team score of 181. Fleming County was second at 198. Lewis County's team score was 233.

Sydney Ullery led the Lady Royals with a 40 followed by Morgan Parker (43), Bentley Shepherd (46) and Morgan Schroer (52).

Sadie Price shot a 37 to win medalist honors.

Lady Royals finish second in quad match at Laurel Oaks

The Mason County Lady Royals finished second in a nine-hole quad match on the front side of Laurel Oaks Golf Course Wednesday with a team score of 134. 

The Pendleton County Lady Wildcats won (124), Lewis County was third (156) and Nicholas County finished fourth (162).

Sydney Ullery led the Lady Royals with a career-low 39. Maura Hartman followed with a 47 and Morgan Parker added a 47 to round out the team score.

Taylor Schroer shot a 50. Bentley Shepherd carded a 54 and Ainsley Robert finished with a 61.

Lady Royals beat Lewis County by 27 shots

The Mason County Lady Royals defeated the Lewis County Lady Lions 139-166 in a nine-hole match at Laurel Oaks Golf Course Monday. 

The top three scores were used for the team scores. Sydney Ullery and Morgan Parker each shot a 46 and Maura Hartman added a 47.

The Lady Royals will host Nicholas County, Fleming County and Lewis County at Laurel Oaks Wedneday.

Lady Royals fourth at Montgomery County Invitational

The Mason County Lady Royals finished fourth at the Montgomery County Invitational at Irish Hills Golf and Country Club in Mt. Sterling Saturday with a team score of 366.

The Lady Royals were led by Morgan Parker with an 85. Sydney Ullery shot an 88, followed by Maura Hartman with a 92 Taylor Schroer with a 102 and Bentley Shepherd with a 105.

Lady Royals are runners-up in Mason County Invitational

The Mason County Lady Royals were the runners-up in the Mason County Invitational at Laurel Oaks Golf Course Wednesday with a team score of 354.

The Montgomery County Lady Indians won the tournament with a team score of 358.

Sydney Ullery led Mason County with an 84. Morgan Parker's 87, Bentley Shepherd's 93 and Maura Hartman's 94 rounded out the team score. Taylor Schroer shot a 101.

The Lady Royals will travel to Mt. Sterling for the Montgomery County Invitational at Irish Hill Golf and Country Club.

Lady Royals open golf season by winning the Harrison County Fillies Invitational for second straight year

The Mason County Lady Royals golf team won the Harrison County Fillies Invitational at Cynthiana Country Club for the second straight year Monday.

The Lady Royals had a team score of 374 in their season opener.

Morgan Parker and Bentley Shepherd each shot an 89. Maura Parker followed with a 97, Sydney Ullery carded a 99 and Taylor Schroer shot a 120. The four best scores are used for the team total.

The Lady Royals will play in the Rowan County Invitational at Eagle Trace Thursday. The tournament will determine the Kentucky 2A Championships Section 6 champion.

Mason County finishes 9th in girls' state golf tournament

The Mason County Lady Royals finished in ninth place at the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA Girls' State Golf Championship today at Bowling Green Country Club.

The Lady Royals shot 395 in the second round for a 36-hole total of 788. 

Madison Central won the state championship at 634.

Mason County senior Macey Littleton shot a 90 for the second straight day. Morgan Parker followed with a 96. Maura Hartman shot a 103, Bentley Shepherd a 106 and Sydney Ullery a 117.

The Lady Royals were Region 12 champions and qualified for the state finals by finishing third in the state first round.

Lady Royals shot 393 in opening round of state golf tournament

The Mason County Lady Royals shot 393 today in the opening round of the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA Girls' State Golf Championship at Bowling Green Country Club.

Macey Littleton led the Lady Royals with a 90. Morgan Parker shot a 94, Bentley Shepherd a 102, and Maura Hartman and Sydney Ullery each shot a 107.

Madison Central shot 320 and has a seven-shot lead over Marshall County.

The final round will be played on Saturday.

Tee times set for opening rounds of state golf finals

Opening round tee times are set for the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA State Golf Championships at Bowling Green Country Club. 

Mason County freshman Jake Feldhaus, who qualified as an individual, will tee off at 8:10 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Mason County Lady Royals qualified by finishing third in the state golf first round. Here are the Lady Royals' tee times on Thursday:

Bentley Shepherd, 8:10 a.m.

Maura Hartman, 8:30 a.m.

Morgan Parker, 8:40 a.m.

Sydney Ullery, 8:50 a.m.

Macey Littleton, 9:00 a.m.

All are Central Time.

Both the boys' and girls' tournaments are 36-hole events with no cuts.

Lady Royals qualify for state finals with third place finish in state golf first round

The Mason County Lady Royals qualified for the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA State Finals in Bowling Green by finishing third in the state golf first round today.

The Lady Royals had a team score of 384 at Winchester Country Club. Lexington Catholic was first at 329 and Madison Central was second at 332. The top three teams advance to the state finals.

Mason County was led by Macey Littleton with an 88. Sydney Ullery shot a 96, Morgan Parker a 97, Maura Hartman a 103 and Bentley Shepherd a 111. The top four scores are used for the team total.

The Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA State Finals will be played at Bowling Green Country Club October 7-8. There is no cut. All participants will play 36 holes. A practice round is scheduled on October 6.

Tees times set for first round state golf tournament

The tee times are set for the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA State Golf First Round.

Site 3 for Regions 9-12 for both the boys and girls is the Winchester Country Club. The boys will play on Monday, the girls on Tuesday. Here are Mason County's tee times:

The top three teams, along with the top 15 individuals not on a qualifying team, will advance the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA State Golf Tournament in Bowling Green.

Lady Royals are region champions for the first time since 2012

The Mason County Lady Royals won the Region 12 golf tournament today at Laurel Oaks Golf Course. It's their first region title since 2012.

The Lady Royals had a team score of 346. Boyd County was the runner-up at 365.

Mason County was led by Macey Littleton who finished third in the individual standings with a 74. Morgan Parker shot an 88, Bentley Shepherd a 91, Maura Hartman a 93 and Sydney Ullery a 94.

Mason County and Boyd County both advance to the first round of the state tournament.

The tees are set for the Kentucky 2A Championships boys' and girls' state golf tournaments on Monday at Owensboro Country Club.

Lady Royals win tri-match vs. Greenup County and Lewis County

The Mason County Lady Royals won a tri-match against Greenup County and Lewis County on Wednesday at Laurel Oaks Golf Course. 

The Lady Royals shot a 125 as a team, followed by Greenup County (133) and Lewis County (148).

Mason County was led by Macey Littleton who was co-medalist with a 1-over 37. Morgan Parker followed with 42, Sydney Ullery and Bentley Shepherd each shot a 45. The top three scores were used for the team total.

The Lady Royals travel to Owensboro this weekend for the Kentucky 2A Championships state tournament on September 11 and 12.

Lady Royals defeat Lady Indians by 30 shots

Macey Littleton was the medalist with an even par 36 and led the Mason County Lady Royals to a 172-202 victory over the Montgomery County Lady Indians at Laurel Oaks Golf Course on Tuesday. 

Bentley Shepherd and Sydney Ullery each shot 45. Morgan Parker carded a 46.

Lady Royals golf team 7th at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Invitational

The Mason County Lady Royals finished seventh out of twenty teams at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Invitational hosted by Highlands on Saturday at the Pioneer Golf Course in Independence.

The Lady Royals' team score of 361 is their lowest of the season.

Macey Littleton led Mason County with an 82. Morgan Parker shot a 90, Sydney Ullery a 94, and Maura Hartman and Bentley Shepherd both shot a 95.

Lady Royals beat Manchester and Lewis County in a tri-match

The Mason County Lady Royals defeated Manchester and Lewis County in a tri-match at Laurel Oaks Golf Course today.

Mason County had a team score of  171. According to Jason Butler, that's the lowest score during his tenure as the Lady Royals' coach.

Manchester carded a 205 and Lewis County shot a 216.

Mason County senior Macey Littleton shot a 3-over 39 and shared medalist honors with Manchester's Taylor Ralston.

Four other Lady Royals shot in the 40s: Sydney Ullery and Maura Hartman each with a 43, Morgan Parker shot a 46 and Bentley Shepherd followed with a 48. 

Taylor Schroer shot a 60 and Ainsley Roberts carded a 66.
