Mason Co. girls 2nd, boys 4th at Fleming Co. All-Comers
Mason County took second place in the girls' meet and fourth place in the boys' meet at the Fleming County All-Comers Tuesday night. First place finishes by Mason County athletes include:

Lady Royals 1st, Royals 2nd at Fleming County All-Comers
Mason County took first place in the girls' meet and second place in the boys' meet at the Fleming County All-Comers meet Thursday night. First place finishes by Mason County athletes include:
- Katie Redmond, girls' 100 meter dash;
- Valerie Rice, girls' 400 meter dash;
- Iretta Carpenter, girls' 100 meter hurdles and the girls' 300 meter hurdles;

Another Mason County record set at Mason-Dixon Games
After further review, Mason County Coach Mark Kachler discovered another school record was set at the Mason-Dixon Games Saturday. The girls 4x200 meter relay team of Madison Paver, Andreana Bennett, Iretta Carpenter and Ashley Deatley set a new record with a time of 2:01.59. Four other school records were set at Mason-Dixon Games.

Mason Co. girls' 4x400 meter relay team sets school record
The Mason County girls' 4x400 meter relay team of Valerie Rice, Madison Paver, Iretta Carpenter and Ashley Deatley set a school record (4:46.77) and won the race at the indoor meet Saturday at the US Bank/Mason County Schools Indoor Athletic Facility. Mason County finished fifth in the girls' high school meet, 11th in the boys' high school meet, second in the boys' middle school meet and third in the girls' middle school meet. Mason County will host indoor meets the next two weekends. Here are links to the results of Saturday's meet:
