Saints lose to Fairview 105-55

Garrett Tesmer, the only senior on the team, made four 3-pointers and scored 18 points in the St. Patrick Saints' 105-55 loss to the Fairview Eagles on Senior Night at The Shamrock on Friday night.

Amari Myrick added 14 points and Rudi Ignacio had 10 points.

St. Patrick (2-19) will play the Augusta Panthers in the semifinals of the 39th District Tournament Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at The Fieldhouse.

Saints lose to Trinity Christian 89-56

The St. Patrick Saints lost to the Trinity Christian Titans 89-56 at The Shamrock on Monday night.

St. Patrick (2-16) only trailed by two points at the end of the first quarter, but was outscored 20-6 in the second quarter.

Garrett Tesmer made four 3-pointers and scored 20 points and Amari Myrick added 16 points for the Saints.

St. Patrick will host Villa Madonna on Wednesday night.

Saints fall to Robertson County

The St. Patrick Saints lost to the Robertson County Black Devils 85-54 at The Shamrock on Monday night.

There were nine lead changes and eight ties in the first half. 

Robertson County (3-22) pulled away by ending the first half on 12-2 run.

Hunter Earlywine scored a game-high 34 points for Robertson County. Jacob Burden followed with 20 points and Ben Sweet added 10.

Amari Myrick led St. Patrick (2-15) with 19 points. Abisai Igancio tossed in 18 points and Garrett Tesmer finished with 11.

The Saints are right back in action on Tuesday night at home vs. the West Union Dragons.

The Black Devils will play at Fleming County on Friday night.

Saints lose to Fleming County 74-34

The St. Patrick Saints lost to the Fleming County Panthers 74-34 at The Shamrock on Saturday afternoon.

Fleming County jumped out to a 25-0 lead and was up 38-2 at the end of the first quarter and 51-15 at halftime. The second half was played with a running clock.

Garrett Tesmer made four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 17 points for St. Patrick (2-14). Amari Myrick added 11 points.

The Saints will host the Robertson County Black Devils on Monday night.

Myrick and Tesmer have big scoring games in Saints' loss to Heritage Academy

Amari Myrick scored a career-high 32 points and Garrett Tesmer made five 3-pointers and added 22 points, but the St. Patrick Saints lost to the Heritage Academy Eagles 103-56 on Thursday night in Florence.

The Saints (2-13) will host the Fleming County Panthers on Saturday at 3 p.m.

A doubleheader split at The Shamrock

St. Patrick and Dayton split a girls' and boys' doubleheader at The Shamrock on Saturday afternoon.

Caroline McKay and Izzy Roush scored 17 apiece and Lillian Klee added 13 points to lead the Lady Saints to a 66-27 win over the Lady Devils. 

The Saints lost to the Greendevils 103-58.

The Lady Saints (12-11) led 42-20 at halftime and held the Lady Devils to seven points in the second half.

In the boys' game, after St. Patrick (2-12) tied the score at 30-30, Dayton scored nine straight points to begin a 23-8 run to close out the first half.

Garrett Tesmer made 6 3-pointers and scored a career-high 26 points for the Saints. Amari Myrick added 17 points.

Mason Johnson scored 35 points for Dayton.

St. Patrick will host Manchester for a girls' and boys' doubleheader on Tuesday night.

Saints lose to Pendleton County 69-29

Just three Saints scored in St. Patrick's 69-29 loss to the Pendleton County Wildcats in Falmouth on Tuesday night.

Garrett Tesmer led St. Patrick in scoring with 18 points.

The Saints (2-11) will host Dayton on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Saints lose to Heritage Academy

The St. Patrick Saints lost to the Heritage Academy Eagles 79-33 at The Shamrock on Tuesday night.

Abisai Ignacio led the Saints in scoring with 12 points. Garrett Tesmer added 10 points.

St. Patrick (2-10) will play at Pendleton County next Tuesday night.

Saints beat Hillsboro Christian on Homecoming

Amari Myrick scored a career-high 25 points and the St. Patrick Saints celebrated Homecoming with a 74-50 victory over Hillsboro Christian at The Shamrock on Thursday night.

It's St. Patrick's second victory of the season and it snapped a five-game losing streak.

The Saints took control of the game with a 9-0 run in the second quarter.

Garrett Tesmer and Abisai Ignacio added 12 points apiece for St. Patrick. Gabe Sammons tossed in 11 points.

The Saints (2-9) host Heritage Academy on Tuesday night.

Saints lose to Calvary Christian in 10th Region All "A" Classic

The St. Patrick Saints lost to the Calvary Christian Cougars 45-41 on Saturday in the quarterfinal round of the 10th Region All "A" Classic at Paris. 

Calvary Christian got its first win of the season by outscoring St. Patrick 10-6 in the fourth quarter.

St. Patrick (1-9) was led in scoring by Amari Myrick with 13 points. Garrett Tesmer added 11 points and was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Gabe Sammons was named to the All-Academic Team.

The Saints will be at home vs. Hillsboro Christian on Thursday at 6:30.

Calvary Christian (1-14) advances to the semifinals to play Bishop Brossart.

Tesmer scores 25 points to lead St. Patrick to its first win of the season

Garrett Tesmer scored a career-high 25 points and the St. Patrick Saints picked up their first win of the season, topping the Covington Latin Trojans 59-55 tonight at The Shamrock. 

Amari Myrick added 17 points for the Saints who outscored the Trojans 30-22 in the second half.

Tesmer scored 16 points in the second half.

St. Patrick (1-4) will take on the Augusta Panthers on December 28 at Augusta.

Saints lose to Robertson County 71-46

St. Patrick had a season-high point total but so did Robertson County and the Saints lost to the Black Devils 71-46 Tuesday night at Robertson County.

St. Patrick (0-4) had three players score in double figures. Amari Myrick matched his career-high with 18 points. Abisai Ignacio followed with 12 and Garrett Tesmer added 10.

Robertson County (1-3) was led in scoring by Jacob Burden and Hunter Earlywine with 24 points each.

The Saints' next game is December 20 at home vs. Covington Latin.

Saints fall to Augusta 90-35

St. Patrick freshman Amari Myrick scored a career-high 18 points, but the Saints lost to the Augusta Panthers 90-35 tonight in their home opener.

Myrick hit three three-pointers. Garrett Tesmer had his second straight double figure scoring game with 10 points.
