Saints fall to Nicholas Co. 77-70

The St. Patrick Saints started strong and finished strong in their final home game of the season, but were outscored 42-19 in the second and third quarters in a 77-70 loss to the Nicholas County Bluejackets tonight.

The Saints led 20-12 at the end of the first quarter and outscored the Bluejackets 31-23 in the fourth quarter, but a 15-point deficit after three quarters was too much to overcome.

St, Patrick has lost seven straight games.

Five players scored in double figures for Nicholas County.

Ben Swolsky had a game-high 26 points for the Saints.

Baylen Bauer hit four three-pointers and scored 15 points.

Chase Burton added 12 points.

St. Patrick plays at Rose Hill Christian Monday night.

Paris girls and boys beat in St. Patrick in 10th Region All "A" Classic

Paris defeated St. Patrick in girls and boys games in the quarterfinal of the 10th Region All "A" Classic today at Paris.

The Lady Hounds beat the Lady Saints 56-42.

Kailee Finch had a double-double for Paris with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Lexi Scales and Justina Klee both scored 12 points for St. Patrick.

The Lady Saints host Green Tuesday night.

The Greyhounds defeated the Saints 78-40,

St, Patrick freshman Jake Swolsky scored a game-high 15 points.

Chase Burton added 10 points for the Saints who play at Beechwood Tuesday night.

Saints go 1-2 in Rose Hill tournament

The St. Patrick Saints went 1-2 in the Rose Hill All Private School Invitational Tournament.

The Saints lost to Whitefield Academy 68-63 and defeated Riverside Christian 72-51 in pool play Thursday.

St. Patrick lost to Rose Hill Christian 61-56 in overtime in the semifinals today.

Chase Burton scored 16 points in the loss to Whitefield Academy. 

Baylen Bauer followed with 13 points, Chandler Black scored 12 points and Pat McKay added 10 points.

Five Saints scored in double figures in the victory over Riverside Christian- Burton with 18, 
Black 11, Bauer 12, Josh Walton 11 and Jake Swolsky 10.

St. Patrick (4-6) will host Menifee County Wednesday night.

Bishop Brossart beats St. Patrick 81-64

The Bishop Brossart Mustangs pulled away from the St. Patrick Saints in the second half for an 81-64 win Tuesday night at St. Patrick.

Bishop Brossart was up by just four points at halftime, but the Mustangs outscored the Saints 41-28 in the second half.

Zach Hamberg scored a game-high 25 points for Bishop Brossart.

Bryce Donnelly tossed in 20 points for the Mustangs.

Ben Swolsky was St. Patrick's leading scorer with 22 points.

Chase Burton added 19 points.

The Saints play Lee County Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Central Bank Heroes Classic at Richmond Model.

Saints Beat Calvary Christian 58-40 on Homecoming

The St. Patrick Saints celebrated Homecoming with a 58-40 victory over the Calvary Christian Cougars Saturday night. 

After leading by one point at halftime, the Saints outscored the Cougars 32-15 in the second half. The win avenged a one-point loss on January 2.

Jakaar Frey led the Saints in scoring with 20 points including seven in the fourth quarter. Ben Swolsky scored 13 points and Chase Burton added 10.

Saints beat Dayton 64-56

Ben Swolsky scored 21 points to lead the St. Patrick Saints to a 64-56 win over the Dayton Greendevils Tuesday night.

Two other Saints scored in double figures- Chase Burton with 12 points and Josh Walton with 11.

The Saints host the Bracken County Polar Bears tonight.

Saints Top Burgin 60-41

Ben Swolsky scored 23 points to lead the St. Patrick Saints to a 60-41 victory over the Burgin Bulldogs Saturday night.

Jakaar Frey had a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Chase Burton added 11 points.
