Lady Royals fall to Pendleton County 4-3

 The Mason County Lady Royals lost to the Pendleton County Lady Wildcats 4-3 Wednesday night in the championship game of the 38th District soccer tournament at Mason County.

The game was decided by penalty kicks in a shootout.

Mason County freshman Harley Durham-Campbell scored two goals, giving her five for the tournament. Chloe Cracraft scored the Lady Royals' other goal. Sarah Payne had two assists and Jayden Stahl had an assist.

The loss snapped Mason County's four-game winning streak.

Both teams advance to the 10th Region Tournament.

Lady Royals blank Lady Saints 5-0 in semifnals of the district soccer tournament

Harley Durham-Campbell scored four goals to lead the Mason County Lady Royals' to a 5-0 win over the St. Patrick Lady Saints in the semifinals of the 38th District soccer tournament Monday night at Mason County.

Chloe Cracraft had a goal and an assist. Amayah Gardner, Kynedee Mauney and Madie Grutza each had an assist.

The Lady Royals (10-4) will play the Pendleton County Lady Wildcats in the championship game Wednesday at 7 p,m,

Pendleton County edged Harrison County 2-1 in the other semifinal.
