Lady Saints snap four-game losing streak with a 50-39 win over Rowan Co.

The St. Patrick Lady Saints snapped a four-game losing streak with a 50-39 Senior Night victory over the Rowan County Lady Vikings tonight. Anne Klee had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Charisma Payne added 12 points. St. Patrick plays Mason County in the 39th District Tournament Tuesday night at Bracken County.

Lady Saints' rally comes up short in 63-59 loss to Montgomery County

The St. Patrick Lady Saints put together a furious rally, but came up short in a 63-59 loss to the Montgomery County Lady Indians in Mt. Sterling tonight. After trailing by 16 points late in the third quarter, the Lady Saints went on a 18-4 run to cut the deficit to two at 54-52 with less than three minutes left in the game. But Montgomery County answered with a 6-0 run and held on for the win. Charisma Payne had a game-high 21 points for the Lady Saints. Anne Klee had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. St. Patrick will host the Rowan County Lady Vikings on Senior Night Friday night.

Lady Panthers edge Lady Saints 56-55

The St. Patrick Lady Saints lost to the Fleming County Lady Panthers 56-55 Wednesday night in Flemingsburg. Charisma Payne returned to action after being injured in an automobile accident on Feb. 5 and led the Lady Saints in scoring with 19 points. Chelsea Douglas scored 10 points. St. Patrick is back in action tonight at Montgomery County.

Shorthanded Lady Saints defeat Bath County 52-40

The St. Patrick Lady Saints, playing without two starters, defeated the Bath County Lady Wildcats 52-40 tonight. Twins Ciera Payne and Charisma Payne missed the game after being in an automobile accident. The twins were not seriously injured. Chelsea Douglas led the Lady Saints with a game-high 18 points. Brooke Mosler added 15 points. St. Patrick plays at Clark County Monday night.

Lady Saints beat Lewis County 60-42

Four Lady Saints scored in double figures and St. Patrick beat the Lewis County Lady Lions 60-42 tonight in Vanceburg. Ciera Payne led the way with 17 points. Charisma Payne scored 15 points. Brooke Mosler followed with 14 points and Chelsea Douglas added 10 points. The Lady Saints host Bath County Friday night.

Lady Saints beat Holmes, lose to Campbell County

The St. Patrick Lady Saints beat the Holmes Lady Bulldogs in Covington Friday night and lost to Campbell County 58-48 at home tonight. All five starters scored in double figures Friday night. Charisma Payne and Ciera Payne led the way with 18 points apiece. Anne Klee had a team-high 14 points tonight. The Lady Saints host Pendleton County Tuesday night.

Lady Saints advance to finals with a 59-43 win over Brossart

The St. Patrick Lady Saints outscored the Bishop Brossart Lady 'Stangs 39-16 to win 59-43 Friday night in the semifinals of the 10th Region All "A" Classic at Bracken County. Chelsea Douglas led the Lady Saints with a game-high 19 points. Charisma Payne scored 13 points and Anne Klee had her third double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Brooke Mosler grabbed 14 rebounds. St. Patrick will play the Bracken County Lady Bears in the championship game Saturday night at 7:30.

Lady Saints swat Lady Jackets 58-40 in All "A"

The St. Patrick Lady Saints led 25-14 at the half and went on to beat the Nicholas County Lady Jackets 58-40 tonight in the quarterfinal round of the 10th Region All "A" Classic at Bracken County. St. Patrick was led in scoring by Ciera Payne with 15 points and Charisma Payne with 11 points. The Lady Saints will play the Bishop Brossart Lady 'Stangs in the semifinals Friday at 6:30 p.m. Brossart beat Deming 57-12 tonight.

Lady Saints beat Paris 65-48 in All "A" play-in game

The St. Patrick Lady Saints outscored the Paris Lady Hounds 15-3 in the fourth quarter to win the play-in game of the 10th Region All "A" Classic 65-48 tonight in Paris. Charisma Payne had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Ciera Payne scored 16 points. Brooke Mosler had 13 points and Chelsea Douglas added 10 points. St. Patrick advances to the quarterfinals to play the Nicholas County Lady Jackets Wednesday ay 8 p.m. at Bracken County.

Lady Saints suffer first loss, 54-43 to Ashland

The St. Patrick Lady Saints suffered their first loss of the season today, losing to the Ashland Kittens 54-43 in the Ashland Kitten Shootout. Charisma Payne led St. Patrick with 12 points. Brooke Mosler had 10 points and 15 rebounds- her third double-double of the season.

Lady Saints rout Bracken Co., win Villa Madonna Holiday Classic

The Payne twins combined for 39 points to lead the St. Patrick Lady Saints to a 70-38 win over the Bracken County Lady Bears Wednesday in the championship game of the Villa Madonna Holiday Classic. Charisma Payne scored 20 points and Ciera Payne tossed in 19 points. Brooke Mosler had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Lydia Hamilton grabbed 10 rebounds. Charisma Payne, Ciera Payne and Chelsea Douglas were named to the All-Tournament Team. St. Patrick (9-0) plays Ashland Saturday at 3:3o p.m. in the Ashland Kitten Shootout.

Charisma Payne's 31 points lead Lady Saints to a 76-74 win over Powell County

Charisma Payne scored 31 points to lead the St. Patrick Lady Saints to a 76-74 win over the Powell County Lady Pirates tonight in the Villa Madonna Holiday Classic. Chelsea Douglas scored 19 points and Anne Klee added10 points.

The St. Patrick Lady Saints extended their season-opening winning streak to six games with a 62-45 victory over St. Henry Tuesday night. Charisma Payne scored a career-high 18 points. Chelsea Douglas scored 15 points and Ciera Payne added 13 points. St. Patrick returns to action Monday against Powell County in the Villa Madonna Holiday Tournament.

Brooke Mosler had double-double in Lady Saints win over Dixie Heights

Brooke Mosler had a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds, Chelsea Douglas scored 21 points and Charisma Payne added 13 points as the St. Patrick Lady Saints beat the Dixie Heights Lady Colonels 74-59 tonight. Anne Klee had 12 rebounds. The Lady Saints are back in action Tuesday night at home against St. Henry.

Lady Saints beat Lady Bears 59-51

Chelsea Douglas had a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds, and Charisma Payne added 13 points to lead the St. Patrick Lady Saints to a 59-51 win over district rival Bracken County last night. Hannah Haight had a game-high 29 points for Bracken County. The Lady Saints host the Ripley Lady Jays Saturday night.

Lady Saints beat Bourbon Co. 62-45 in season opener

Chelsea Douglas scored 16 points and the Payne twins both had a double-double to lead the St. Patrick Lady Saints to a 62-45 season-opening win over the Bourbon County Lady Colonels in Paris Friday night. Charisma Payne had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Ciera Payne scored 13 points and dished out 10 assists. The Lady Saints had 33 steals. St. Patrick plays its home opener Thursday night against district rival Bracken County.
