Mason County High School alum David White has accepted the position of Director of Instruction at Oak Ridge Golf Club, formerly Maysville Country Club.
"My top priority is to build one of the strongest junior golf programs in the state," White wrote in a Facebook post. "I will be providing private lessons, couples lessons, group lessons and clinics of all sorts."
White won the Junior Chippeways in 1990 and 1991 and the Chippeways in 1993.
He served as the pro at Maysville Country Club after playing collegiately at Morehead State University.
White is the golf coach at Great Crossing High School. He previously coached at Sayre School in Lexington and is the former Director of Instruction at Athens Golf Center.
