Tobias Jackson is Red Zone Player of the Week

Senior defensive tackle Tobias Jackson is the Red Zone Player of the Week at Mason County High School. According to assistant coach Jonathan Thomas, Jackson was chosen because he had had nine tackles, a fumble recovery and aided the defense in several key fourth down stops in the Royals' 14-0 win over Fleming County.
Every week, one player is selected as the Red Zone Player of the Week at each participating high school. At the end of the season, one player from each school will be nominated to represent their team for possible selection as a national finalist. From these local nominations, the Red Zone Player of the Year Awards Committee will select 50 finalists to be announced in February 2010 to coincide with national letter of intent signing day.
The RedZone Player of the Year program is nationally sponsored by Procter &Gamble Old Spice® Red Zone Deodorant. The program is created and managed by 360 Youth, LLC, an Alloy company.
