Polar Bears top Saints 77-32

Thirteen Bracken County players scored as the Polar Bears defeated the visiting St. Patrick Saints 77-32 on Friday night.

Ashton Buchanan led Bracken County in scoring with 14 points, Noah Nelson tossed in 13, Teegan Feldhaus followed with 12 and Ben Sweet added 11.

Amari Myrick scored 18 points for St. Patrick

Saints edge Black Devils in All "A" region quarterfinals

Abi Ignacio made two free throws with 11 seconds left in the game to give the St. Patrick Saints a 48-46 victory over the Robertson County Black Devils on Saturday in the 10th Region All "A" Classic at Nicholas County.

It is the Saints' first win in the 10th Region All "A" Classic since 2014.

Amari Myrick scored a game-high 21 points for St. Patrick (2-8). Ignacio finished with 15 points.

Devin Craig and Ben Sweet scored 14 points for Robertson County (2-11).

The Saints move on to the semifinals to play the Nicholas County Bluejackets on Monday night.

The Black Devils will hit the road Tuesday night to play Calvary Christian.

Saints fall to Robertson County

After taking a four-point lead early in the second quarter, the St. Patrick Saints were unable to stop Robertson County's scoring runs and lost to the Black Devils 76-34 at The Shamrock on Tuesday night.

Robertson County jumped out to a 13-4 lead. St. Patrick put together a 15-2 run to lead 19-15, but the Black Devils ended the first half on a 20-5 run, opened the third quarter with a 14-4 spurt and outscored the Saints 23-2 in the fourth quarter.

Ben Sweet scored a game-high 20 points for Robertson County (1-2). 

Amari Myrick led St. Patrick (0-4) in scoring with 19 points. Abi Ignacio added 12 points. 

The Saints will host Covington Latin on December 12.

Saints fall to Robertson County

The St. Patrick Saints lost to the Robertson County Black Devils 85-54 at The Shamrock on Monday night.

There were nine lead changes and eight ties in the first half. 

Robertson County (3-22) pulled away by ending the first half on 12-2 run.

Hunter Earlywine scored a game-high 34 points for Robertson County. Jacob Burden followed with 20 points and Ben Sweet added 10.

Amari Myrick led St. Patrick (2-15) with 19 points. Abisai Igancio tossed in 18 points and Garrett Tesmer finished with 11.

The Saints are right back in action on Tuesday night at home vs. the West Union Dragons.

The Black Devils will play at Fleming County on Friday night.
