Bill O'Mara aces No. 15 and wins "A" Group of Laurel Oaks 1-Man Scramble

 Bill O'Mara had a hole-in-one on No. 15 and shot 13-under 59 to win "A" Group of the Laurel Oaks 1-Man Scramble Sunday. 

The scramble used a mulligan format where each golfer was allowed to hit a mulligan for each shot, including putts. The field was pre-flighted based on handicaps.

John Kennedy finished in second place at 11 under.

Jackson Frame wins 2nd Chippeways in three years

Jackson Frame won the Chippeways golf tournament at Maysville Country Club for the second time in three years.

Frame defeated Bill O'Mara in 20 holes in the championship match this afternoon.

O'Mara was 2-up through nine holes and 1-up through 16.

Frame evened the match on No. 17.

The win on the 20th hole, with a par, gave Frame his only lead of the match.

Earlier today in the semifinals, Frame beat Troy Grooms, and O'Mara defeated Drew Traxel.

Deron Feldhaus and Allen Feldhaus Junior Win Kenton Station/Fleming Co. 2-Man Scramble in Playoff

Deron Feldhaus chipped in for an eagle on the first hole of a sudden death playoff to give him and his brother, Allen Feldhaus Jr., a win over Rex Schalch and Mark Moore in the Kenton Station/Fleming County 2-Man Scramble today at Fleming County Golf Association. Both teams finished regulation play at 19-under 123. Schalch and Moore fired a 12-under 60 (with a 28 on the front nine) today. The Feldhaus brothers shot a 12-under 58 Saturday at Kenton Station Golf Course. Marvin Schalch and Bill O'Mara finished third at 124.
