Saints lose to Trinity Christian Academy

The St. Patrick Saints closed out the regular season with a 91-41 loss to the Trinity Christian Academy Titans on Friday night in Lexington.

Glenn Reed and Amari Myrick led the Saints in scoring with 10 points apiece.

Trinity Christian Academy senior guard Bryce Thompson made eight 3-pointers and scored 51 points.

St. Patrick (3-23) will play the Augusta Panthers on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the semifinals of the 39th District Tournament at The Fieldhouse.

Saints fall to Frankfort Christian

The St. Patrick Saints suffered a 66-54 loss to the Frankfort Christian Royals on Saturday afternoon.

The Saints led 17-13 at the end of the first quarter, but were outscored by the Royals 21-6 in the second quarter and 20-13 in the third quarter.

Amari Myrick and Abi Ignacio each scored 16 points and Glenn Reed added 14 points.

St. Patrick (2-17) will host the Robertson County Black Devils on Monday night.

Saints rally comes up short in loss to Robertson County

The St. Patrick Saints had a huge fourth quarter and finished with their highest point total of the season, but lost to the Robertson County Black Devils 63-59 on Tuesday night at Robertson County.

The Black Devils outscored the Saints 15-6 in the third quarter to lead 41-29. St. Patrick outscored Robertson County 30-21 in the fourth quarter to make it close.

Nathan Turner poured in 20 points to lead four Robertson County players in double figure scoring. Ashton Myers followed with 17 points, Nate Gray tossed in 12 and Andrew Gooden added 10.

Amari Myrick led St. Patrick with 18 points, Abi Ignacio scored 15 and Glenn Reed added 11.

St. Patrick (0-5) will host Fleming County on Friday night.

Robertson County (1-1) will travel to Brooksville on Thursday night to play the Bracken County Polar Bears.

Saints lose season opener to Pendleton County

The St. Patrick Saints opened the season with a 91-40 loss to the Pendelton County Wildcats on Monday night at The Shamrock.

St. Patrick freshman Glenn Reed hit a 3-pointer for the first points of the game to give the Saints their only lead.

Pendleton County answered with a 9-0 run and never looked back.

The Wildcats led 26-8 at the end of the first quarter, 59-27 at halftime and 79-32 after three quarters.

Amari Myrick led the Saints in scoring with 18 points. Reed added 12 points on four 3-pointers.

St. Patrick will be back in action Wednesday night at Augusta.
