Mason Co. soccer teams sweep West Union on Senior Night

The Mason County girls and boys soccer teams swept West Union on Senior Night. Dylan Whitehead scored two goals and had an assist to lead the Royals to a 5-2 victory. Sam Griffey,
Corey Walker and Jonathon Reynolds each scored a goal. Kyle Thompson and Jake Morgan each had an assist. The Lady Royals beat the Lady Dragons 3-1. Alyssa Price scored a first half goal with an assist by Porsha Greene. Ashley Deatley and Taylor Houchens each scored a goal in the second half.

Royals blank Owen Co., Lady Royals tie Fleming County

Kyle Thompson and Tanner Walton each scored a goal as the Mason County Royals blanked the Owen County Raiders 2-0 Thursday evening. Jake Morgan and Dylan Whitehead each had an asssist. Jesse Foister recorded his fifth shutout. The Royals (7-3-2) play at West Union Monday.
The Mason County Lady Royals and the Fleming County Lady Panthers played to a 2-2 tie in Flemingsburg. Porsha Greene and Jessica Shotwell each scored a goal. The Lady Royals (3-4-3) play at West Union Monday.
