The Mason County Royals suffered a season-ending 10-0 loss to the Bishop Brossart Mustangs in the quarterfinal round of the 10th Region soccer tournament at Bishop Brossart Tuesday evening.
The Royals finished the season with an 8-8-3 record under first-year coach Shane Taylor.
Shane Taylor is the new boys' soccer head coach at Mason County High School.
Taylor succeeds Daniel Forsythe who stepped down after serving as the Royals' coach since 2018.
Anyone interested in playing next season should attend a meeting with Coach Taylor Friday at 6 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.
