Lady Royals beat Pendleton Co. in semis of 10th Region tennis tourney

The Mason County Lady Royals defeated the Pendleton County Lady Wildcats 3-1 in the semifinals of the girls 10th Region tennis tournament Monday night.

In singles matches, Tessa Gray defeated Holley Hart 6-0, 6-1, and Rachel Rister beat Abi Sheets 6-1, 6-3.

In doubles, Maddy McElfresh and Mallory Conrad won 4-6, 6-1, 14-12.

Mason County plays Highlands in the finals tonight at 6 o'clock at Harrison County.

Mason Co. Girls Tee Times for Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac Golf Championship

Tee times are set for the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA Girls Golf State Tournament at Bowling Green Country Club. A practice round is scheduled Thursday. The first round is Friday and the second round is Saturday. Mason County golfers will begin on No. 10. Here are the Lady Royals' tee times:
