Bishop Brossart outscored St. Patrick 15-3 in the first quarter and the Mustangs beat the Saints 64-46 tonight at St. Patrick. Stephen Mason led St. Patrick in scoring with 16 points. Cody Burton added 10 points. The Saints host West Union Tuesday night.

Lady Saints and Saints earn berths in regional soccer tournaments

The St. Patrick Lady Saints and Saints won semifinal games in the district soccer tournaments last night and earned berths in the regional tournaments. The Lady Saints beat Walton-Verona 4-1 and will play Grant County in the championship game of the girls' 23rd District tournament tonight at 7 o'clock at Grant County. The Saints shutout Walton-Verona 4-0 and will play Grant County in the championship game of the boys' 23rd District tournament Thursday at 7 p.m. at Pendleton County. Cody Burton scored two goals and had an assist. Edward Jimenez had a goal and an assist. Zerubabel Oluweremi scored a goal. Brian Flores and Payne Stanfield each had an assist. Goalkeeper Stephen Mason got the shutout.
