Ryan Swolsky named baseball coach at St. Patrick

Ryan Swolsky is the new baseball coach at St. Patrick High School.

Swolsky, a 2012 graduate of St. Patrick, succeeds J.T. Williams who was the Saints' coach for one season.

St. Patrick opens the season Monday at home against the Elliott County Lions. 

The Saints will played their home games at Wald Park.  

Grayson wins the Two-Mile Bridge 10-Miler, Carlson female winner

Nathaniel Grayson of Maysville won the Two Mile Bridge Run 10-Miler today in a time of 1:06:30.

Kristen Carlson of Maysville was the female winner and seventh overall in a time of 1:14:26. 

Christine Moon of Mt. Orab, Ohio won the 5K Run/Walk in a time of 20:23.

Ryan Swolsky of Augusta was the top male runner and second overall in the 5K in a time of 21:29.

The Two Bridge Run was sponsored by the Maysville Rotary Club.

Saints snap an 8-game losing streak with a an 82-69 win over Augusta

The St. Patrick Saints have the Augusta Panthers' number. The Saints picked up their first win of the season with a double overtime victory over the Panthers in December. Tonight, St. Patrick snapped an 8-game losing streak with an 82-69 over Augusta on the Panthers' home court. Five Saints scored in double figures with Tyler Slack leading the way with 20 points. Daniel Yeary followed with 17 points. Cory Jodrey scored 16 points. Ryan Gallenstein added 15 points after missing five games with a knee injury. Ryan Swolsky tossed in 12 points. The Saints play at Eastern Brown Saturday night.
