The Mason County girls' and boys' track and field teams swept the Mason County Invitational on Saturday.
The Lady Royals racked up 207 points. The Rowan County Lady Vikings were the runners-up with 143 points.
The Royals scored 188 points. The Fleming County Panthers were second with 92 points.
First-place finishes by Mason County athletes include:
- Anthony Bozeman, the boys' 110 meter hurdles (16.58) and the boys' 200 meter dash (22.99)
- CJ Arthur in the boys' 100 meter dash (11.82)
- Layla Henderson, the girls' 1600 meter run (5:31.65) and the girls' 3200 meter run (11:59.33)
- Alix Flinders, the boys' 400 meter dash (54.58)
- Paige Decker, the girls' 800 meter run (2:34.51)
- Lexi Young, the girls' high jump (5-02.00) and the girls' long jump (17-4.00)
- William Callender, the boys' long jump (19-04.50)
- Victoria Lavinder, the girls' discus throw (76-08)
- Ava Thompson, the girls' pole vault (9-00.00)
- AJ Barrett, the boys' pole vault (12-00.00)
- The girls' 4x100 meter relay team of Lexi Young, Sarah Payne, Neveah Wright and Madison Howard (51.58)
- The girls' 4x200 meter relay team of Morgan Carpenter, Alexis Decker, Hadley Maher and Avery Sims (1:54.73)
- The girls' 4x400 meter relay team of Morgan Carpenter, Paige Decker, Sarah Payne and Avery Sims (4:29.22)
