Lofton Sprains Ankle

Chris Lofton suffered a sprained ankle in Tennessee's game against South Carolina today. He scored four points in 12 minutes of playing time. The Volunteers won 64-61 to snap a three game losing streak. In postgame quote on utsports.com Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl said: "We really need 24 hours to have a decent examination to determine what happened to Chris Lofton. He has an ankle sprain, and his ankle is swollen ...tomorrow I will start preparing our team for the Ole Miss game, and we will figure what we will do either with or without Lofton." Tennessee plays at Ole Miss Wednesday night and at Kentucky at week from tomorrow.
