Sophomore tailback Jeremy Thompson ran for 101 yards and scored three touchdowns in the Mason County Royals' 33-0 win over the Morgan County Cougars tonight in West Liberty. Richie Cox threw a touchdown pass to Tony Browning and scored a touchdown on a quarterback sneak. Mason County forced Morgan County to go three and out on its first two possession deep in its own territory. The Royals led 13-0 less than five minutes into the game. It was 26-0 at halftime.
