Mason County Football at Morgan County Tonight

The Mason County Royals travel to West Liberty tonight to play the Morgan County Cougars. It's the first time the varsity Royals have played at Morgan County.
In the first meeting last season at Mason County, the Royals won 21-12.
Morgan County is 0-2 this season. The Cougars lost to Rowan County 27-21 in week one, had an open date on week two and lost to Bath County 32-18 last week. Royals coach David Buchanan says Morgan County's record is deceiving. The Cougars have had several players out with injuries. Buchanan says Morgan County has five or six players that could play for any team on the Royals' schedule. Former Mason County Schools Superintendent Joe Dan Gold is the Morgan County Schools Superintendent.
