Sydney Ullery went 2 for 4 and drove in three runs as the Mason County Lady Royals snapped a five-game losing streak with an 8-7 victory over the Scott Lady Eagles on Wednesday at the Tom Browning Boys and Girls Club.
Scott scored three runs in the first inning and led 4-0 in the middle of the third inning.
Mason County answered with five runs in the bottom of the third.
The Lady Eagles regained the lead with two runs in the sixth inning.
The Lady Royals rallied with three runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Scott loaded the bases with one out in the seventh inning and scored a run on a fielders choice. Mason County pitcher Delana Rigg got the next batter to fly out to give the Lady Royals their sixth win of the season.
Reagan Workman scored three runs and Kalyn Gallagher had two RBI and scored two runs.
Mason County will play the Fleming County Lady Panthers in Flemingsburg on Friday at 6 p.m.
