The Mason County Lady Royals were outscored 20-11 in the second half and lost to the Montgomery County Lady Indians 40-32 on Saturday afternoon at The Fieldhouse.
The Lady Royals were up 21-20 at halftime, but only scored two points in the third quarter and were down 34-23 heading into the fourth quarter.
Montgomery County was 13-of-20 from the free throw line. Mason County was 2-of-4 on foul shots.
Amirah Reed led Mason County in scoring with 15 points.
Mason County (15-7) will host West Union on Monday at the Lady Royals Gym.
