This is the final week of district games for Kentucky high school football teams.
The final district standings (and tie-breakers, if needed) will determine the match ups for the first round of the playoffs which will be played in two weeks.
Here is how it works:
The first place team from District 5 will host the fourth place team from District 6.
The second place team from District 5 will be at home vs. the third place team from District 6.
The third place team from District 5 will be on the road vs. the second place team from District 6.
The fourth place team from District 5 will be the visiting team vs. the first place team from District 6.
Here are the district standings and this week's schedule of games in Class 4A districts 5 and 6:
Mason County at Covington Catholic
Harrison County at Holmes
Johnson Central at Ashland
Greenup County at Rowan County
The final games of the regular season will be played next week.
