The Mason County Lady Royals' season came to an end with a 17-4 loss to the Harrison County Fillies in six innings in the opening game of the 10th Region Tournament at Bourbon County Monday.
The Lady Royals were only down 8-4 after five innings, but the Fillies scored nine runs in the bottom of the sixth inning for the run-rule win.
Mason County finished the season with a 20-19 record. The 20 wins are the most in program history.
