Terrell Henry scored 27 points and KG Walton had 25 points to lead the Mason County Royals to a 75-67 win over the Campbell County Camels in the semifinals of the 10th Region Tournament at The Fieldhouse on Monday night.
Mason County (29-5) will play the George Rogers Clark Cardinals in the championship game on Tuesday at 7 p.m. GRC jumped out to a 22-2 lead and defeated the Harrison County Thorobreds 69-56 in the second game.
Henry and Walton combined to score 21 of the Royals' 24 fourth quarter points.
Braylon Hamilton made three 3-pointers and scored 13 points.
Mason County led 37-26 at halftime. Campbell County opened the third quarter on an 11-3 run to cut the Royals' lead to four points. Mason County answered with an 11-4 run to lead 51-41 at the end of the third quarter. Carter McClanahan hit two 3-pointers and Hamilton made a 3-pointer during that run.
Hamilton hit another 3-pointer to give the Royals' their biggest lead 54-41 with 6:55 remaining in the game. Campbell County closed to within six points at 65-59, but Henry and Walton made back-to-back layups to push the lead back out to 10 points with 1:03 to play.
Aydan Hamilton scored 24 points, Connor Weinel followed with 12 points, Jaiden Combs 11 and Jake Gross 10 for the Camels who ended the season with a 22-12 record.
Mason County and GRC did not meet during the regular season.
