Izzy Riggs had 18 points and eight rebounds and Caroline McKay made four 3-pointers and added 14 points to lead the St. Patrick Lady Saints to a 50-36 win over the Bracken County Lady Bears 50-36 at The Shamrock on Thursday night.
St. Patrick (13-10) led 22-13 at halftime. Bracken County (15-11) closed to within two points at 29-27, but the Lady Saints closed the third quarter on a 7-0 run capped off by an NBA-range 3-pointer by Caroline McKay at the buzzer.
McKay opened the fourth quarter with another deep 3-pointer. The Lady Saints would go on to lead by as many as 18 points on their way to avenging a 34-26 loss to the Lady Bears last week.
Bracken County was led in scoring by Gineva Riley with 10 points.
The loss snapped the Lady Bear's five-game winning streak.
St. Patrick travels to Cynthiana on Saturday to play the Harrison County Fillies.
Bracken County will host the Fleming County Lady Panthers on Friday.
