Mason County is the new No. 1 team in this week's 10th Region boys' basketball media poll, GRC still No. 1 in girls' poll

The Mason County Royals are the new No. 1 team in the 10th Region boys' basketball media poll. 

Mason County, coming off a 40-39 win over Lexington Catholic in the championship game of the Kentucky 2A Championships state tournament on Sunday, edged defending state champion George Rogers Clark by two points in this week's poll. It's the first time this season GRC has not been No. 1 in the boys' poll.

GRC is still No.1 in the girls' poll. 

Media members throughout the region vote in the polls which are compiled by WFTM sports director Travis Scaggs.
