The Kentucky High School Athletic Association has released the preliminary draft football realignment for the 2023-2026 seasons.
The preliminary draft has Mason County in District 5 of Class 4A with Covington Catholic, Grant County, Harrison County and Holmes.
Mason County has been in Class 3A the last four seasons.
The KHSAA Board of Control, which will conduct its January meeting on Wednesday, has the final say on the football realignment.
