The Mason County Lady Royals closed out the pre-Christmas portion of their schedule with a 59-52 loss to the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts on Wednesday night in Erlanger.
Mason County led 19-5 at the end of the first quarter and 29-21 at halftime, but were outscored 38-23 in the second half.
It's the Lady Royals' second consecutive loss and their fourth loss in the last five games.
Lloyd snapped a four-game losing streak.
Amirah Reed led Mason County (4-5) in scoring with 12 points.
Junior Sierra McCoin scored 25 points for Lloyd (3-6). McCoin made four 3-pointers and was 10-of-12 from the free throw line.
Mason County will be back in action on December 27 vs. Christian County in the Vanous Lloyd Christmas Tournament at Warren Central High School in Bowling Green.
