Grant Owens shot a 2-over 72 to win medalist honors and lead the Mason County Royals to a runner-up finish in the Ashland Invitational Tournament today at Bellfonte Country Club.
The Royals had a team score of 305, nine-shots behind the Russell Red Devils.
It's the second time this season that Owens has won medalist honors and it's the second tournament in which Mason County has been the runner-up.
Jake Feldhaus finished third with a 73. Trey Cracraft and Noah Gardner both shot 80 and Quin Grooms carded an 83.
The Royals are back in action Tuesday in the Cooper Classic at Lassing Pointe in Union.
