Jake Feldhaus won medalist honors for the first time, Quin Grooms tied for third, all five Mason County golfers shot in the 70s and the Royals won the Copper Classic today at Lassing Pointe Golf Course in Union.
Feldhaus shot an even par 71. Grooms shot a 76. Trey Cracraft and Noah Garner both shot 77 and Grant Owens followed with a 78.
The four best scores are used for the team score (301).
It's Mason County's fourth tournament win. The Royals will play in the Kentucky Cup Invitational at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington on Wednesday.
