Mason County senior Karis Applegate has had a record-setting track career at the high school level, and this fall, she will take her talents to Morehead State University.
Prior to track and field practice today, Applegate signed to continue her academic and athletic careers at MSU.
Applegate holds outdoor school records in the 100 meter dash (12.75) and the 200 meter dash (26.57) and indoor school records in the 60 meter dash (8.09) and the 200 meter dash 27.00). She is also a member of the team that holds the school record in the 4x100 meter relay (51.09).
