Tyler Lippert and B.J. Knox win The Commonwealth Cup

A birdie on the final hole gave Tyler Lippert and B.J. Knox a one-shot victory in The Commonwealth Cup, a two-man tournament at Laurel Oaks Golf Course.

Lippert and Knox shot an eight-under 64 in today's final round and had a 36-hole total of 21-under 123.

Matt Logan and Logan McIntosh finished second. The defending champions, Jackson Frame and Corey Richmond, took third place at 19-under.

The tournament featured a six-hole rotation format. Holes 1-6 were best ball, holes 7-12 were a scramble and holes 13-18 were alternate shot.

The teams of Tim Boden/Denver Shoemaker and Troy Grooms/Deron Feldhaus tied for first place in the First Flight at 10-under.

The other flight winners were:

Tanner Walton and Justin Lang, seven-under

Third Flight
Shawn Johnson and Peyton Fyffe, one-under

Fourth Flight
Bubby Mitchell and Greg Harmon, three-over

Fifth Flight
Shane Lippert and Ralph Reed, 10-over
