Royals routed by Scott 50-0 in district opener

The Scott Eagles jumped out to a 22-0 lead in the first quarter and routed the Mason County Royals 50-0 tonight in Taylor Mill in the district opener for both teams.

Scott took a 36-0 lead with 8:12 to play in the second quarter and the rest of the game was played with a running clock.

The Eagles outgained the Royals 405 to 104 in total yards.

Mason County had three turnovers.

The Royals, 2-3 overall, play the Bourbon County Colonels in Paris next week.
