Royals routed by Clark County

The Clark County Cardinals were 11-of-15 (73.3 percent) from the field in the first quarter and 9-of-32 (59.4 percent) in the first half and routed the Mason County Royals 78-45 Friday night in Winchester.

Clark County broke a 2-2 with a 15-0 run. The Cardinals opened the fourth quarter with a 14-0 run.

The final five minutes and 25 seconds of the game were played with a running clock.

Mason County shot just 29.5 percent for the game and was 5-of-24 (20.8 percent) in the second half.

Clark County has won 12 straight games.

Leevi Dunaway led Mason County in scoring with 18 points.

Malkolm Devine made four three-pointers and added 16 points.

The Royals host Western Brown Saturday night at 7:30 on Senior Night.
