Campbell Co. and Bracken Co. advance in 10th Region Tournament

The Campbell County Camels and the Bracken County Polar Bears posted wins in the quarterfinal round of the 10th Region Tournament tonight at the Mason County Fieldhouse and will meet in the semifinals Monday night.

Garren Bertsch scored 19 points and Cole Hegyi added 15 points in Campbell County's 55-45 win over the Clark County Cardinals in the opening game of the tournament.

Austin Crawford scored 21 points to lead Bracken County to a 52-40 victory over the Harrison County Thorobreds- the Polar Bears' first win  in the 10th Region Tournament since 1989.

Harrison County led 16-10 with Crawford on the bench with two fouls in the second quarter. Crawford returned to the game and Bracken County ended the half on an 11-0 run.
