Mason Co. girls 7th graders win Paris tourney

The Mason County Lady Royals 7th grade basketball team won the Paris Lady Hound Middle School Invitational Tournament Saturday. The Lady Royals defeated Montgomery County 38-30 in the quarterfinals, breezed past Lexington Catholic 48-16 in the semifinals and routed the Paris Lady Hounds 52-10 in the championship game. Mason County (3-0) is coached by Jason Buter and Jerry Butler.
