Morris Sisters Qualify for State Tennis Tournament

The Morris sisters-Carolyn and Bridgit of Mason County-qualified for the KHSAA State Tennis Tournament in doubles. They advanced to the semifinals of the regional tournament. Carolyn is a junior. Bridgit is a freshman. The Mason County girls' and boys' teams both finished third in their respective regional tournaments. Becca Wallingford and Taylor Sargent made it to the quarterfinals in doubles. Erica Combs and Alyssa McCall both advanced to the round of 16 in singles. For the boys, Braun Applegate reached the semifinals in singles. Zach Ruble made it to the round of 16 in singles. Jackson Gossard and Steven Scaggs reached the semifinals in doubles. Hao Rong Wang and Eric White made it to the round of 16 in doubles.
