Mason County senior Lacey Cline signed today to play basketball at Thomas More College. Cline averaged 20 points a game and led Mason County in assists last season. A five-year varsity player, Cline is second on the Lady Royals' all-time scoring list with 2,543 career points. Cline plays shortstop for the Mason County fast-pitch softball team and leads the team in batting (.473).
Cline says she will consider playing softball at Thomas More after her first year in college.
Thomas More, an NCAA Division III school, plays in the President's Athletic Conference. The women's basketball team won its first 29 games last season before losing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Brian Neal is the Saints' Head Coach.
