1981-82 Mason County Team Returns to The Fieldhouse

The 1981-82 Mason County Royals team that went undefeated in the regular season was recognized between games of the Spectrum Grahx River City Classic tonight. I was the emcee for the ceremony. The team was 25-0 in the regular season, won the 10th Region Tournament and ended the season with a record of 31-1 after losing to Virgie in the quarterfinals of the state tournament. Allen Feldhaus was the head coach. Fred Hester and Bill Kuhnes were the assistant coaches. Team members were: Kelly Middleton, Willie Feldhaus, Jeff Breeze, Gary Beiland, Dale Liles, Malcolm Walker, Brian Littleton, John Jackson, Kenny Pitakis, Jeff Frame, Tony Anthony and Jim Rannes. Andrew Wood was the team manager. Kuhnes and Anthony were only two not there tonight.
