The Mason County cross country teams opened the season Saturday by winning 13 individual medals at the Dayton Relays. Here is a list of the medal winners:
Boys Varsity- Travis Scaggs (7th overall), C.H. Thompson, Jim Meyer and Trent Thornton;
Girls Varsity- Rachel White (2nd) and Blaine Menke (7th);
Boys Middle School- Conner Appelman (2nd) and Nathan Woods (9th);
Girls Middle School- Iretta Carpenter (9th) and Valerie Rice (12th);
Boys 6th Grade & Under- Alex Colmberger (10th);
Girls 6th Grade & Under- Julia Wood (8th) and Raylee Kirkland (9th).
Mason County will be back in action Sept. 6 in the Eastern Brown Invitational.
