Royals draw Montgomery County in 10th Region baseball tournament

The Mason County Royals will play the Montgomery County Indians in the quarterfinal round of the 10th Region baseball tournament.

The draw took place on Friday. The tournament is scheduled to be played at Campbell County High School. However, there is a contingency plan to move the games to Meinken Park, a turf field at 2631 Eastern Avenue in Covington, if there's a lot of rain.

Here is the schedule:

Monday, May 26

10:00 a.m. Harrison County vs. Augusta

12:30 p.m. George Rogers Clark vs. Scott

3:00 p.m. Campbell County vs. Nicholas County 

5:30 p.m. Mason County vs. Montgomery County

Tuesday, May 27

5:30 p.m. upper bracket semifinal game

8:00 p.m. lower bracket semifinal game

Wednesday, May 28

6:00 p.m. championship game

Admission is $7. Tickets may be purchased on GoFan only with no cash sales at the gate if the tournament is played at Campbell County. There will be cash sales at the gate if the tournament is moved to Meinken Park. GoFan will also be an option for games played at Meinken Park.
