Mason County archers Dillon Mitchell and Laurelle Setters have qualified for the KHSAA state tournaments.
Mitchell won the KHSAA Region 7 Boys/Coed Tournament at Fleming County on Saturday. He had a score of 288 with 21 Tens and edged Joseph Eggleston of Robertson County by one point.
Setters qualified for the state tournament with an 11th place finish in the KHSAA Region 7 Girls' Tournament also at Fleming County.
Harrison County won the Boys/Coed region team championship with a score of 1,969. Fleming County was the runner-up (1,931 with 91 Tens) and Mason County finished third (1,931 with 90 Tens).
Harrison County also won the Girls' Region Tournament (2,019). Fleming County was the runner-up (1,918). Mason County finished in sixth place (1,848).
