Lost in the shuffle of the 10th Region Tournament last March was the fact that the Mason County Royals' 67-65 win over the Bourbon County Colonels in the quarterfinal round was the 1,400th victory in program history.
After losing to Harrison County in the semifinals, the Royals will begin their 65th season on Monday night with an all-time record of 1,400-565.
Mason County has had 58 winning seasons, 39 20-win seasons and nine 30-win seasons.
