Lady Royals and Royals both finish second at Mason County Invitational

The Lexington Christian Academy girls' and boys' track and field teams swept the Mason County Invitational on Saturday.

Mason County's girls' and boys' teams both finished second.

First place finishes by Mason County athletes include:

  • Kenzie Gulley, girls' 100 meter dash (13.65)
  • Peyton Ullery, boys' 1600 meter run (4:38.99)
  • The girls' 4x100 meter relay team of Madison Howard, CeCe Hiatt, Adrienne Downs-Perry and Kenzie Gulley (52.47)
  • The boys' 4x100 meter relay team of Martin Godby, Jaxen Crabtree, Nair Metts and Keshaun Thomas (46.04)
  • The girls' 4x400 meter relay team of Ava Thompson, Brooklyn Young, Kolby Galloway and Sarah Payne (4:29.42)
  • Madison Howard, girls' long jump (16-00.00)
  • Reese Hardeman, girls' shot put (30-06.50)
  • Ashayne Jones, boys' discus throw (140-01)
  • Ava Thompson, girls' high jump (4-10.00) and girls' pole vault (10-06.00)
  • Keenan Galloway, boys' pole vault (11-00.00)
Sarah Payne broke the school record in the girls' 400 meter dash with a time of 1:02.02 and finished second.
