Saturday was another record-breaking day for Mason County indoor track and field athletes

Mason County indoor and track and field athletes set six new school records on Saturday at the KTCCCA President's Day Invite in Louisville.

Dashawn Overly set a new school record in the 3000 meters (9:21.22). The previous record was recently set by Ed Brannon. Brannon ran faster than that mark on Saturday.

Brannon ran the 1500 meters on Saturday in a school-record time of 4:19.04.

Peyton Ullery ran the 800 meters in 2:04.81 breaking the previous school record he had set.

The boys' 4x800 meter relay team of Bryant Curtis, Brannon, Overly and Curtis, broke the school record for the third time this indoor season. Saturday's time was 8:23.70.

Amirah Reed set a new school record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 10:44.

Ava Thompson broke her own school record in the pole vault by clearing 11 feet. She had set the previous record earlier this season.

Mason County will host its final home meet of the season this Saturday.
