Lexi Young had a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds and the Mason County Lady Royals closed out the regular season with a 50-10 win over the Lewis County Lady Lions on Monday night at the Lady Royals Gym.
Olivia Hughes scored 11 points and Amirah Reed added 10 as the Lady Royals ran their record to 19-10.
Mason County led 8-0 and 18-3 in the first quarter. After leading 30-9 at halftime, the Lady Royals opened the second half on a 14-0 run to lead 44-9 with 1:18 remaining in the third quarter. The rest of the game was played with a running clock.
Mason County will play the Augusta Lady Panthers in the 39th District Tournament at Bracken County on February 27.
