The Mason County Royals fell behind early and could not catch up in their final game of the regular season.
The Collins Titans built a 13-point lead in the first quarter and defeated the Royals 73-53 on Thursday night in Shelbyville.
The game was tied at 6-all before Collins ended the first quarter on a 12-1 run.
The Titans pushed the lead to 33-17 with just over a minute left in the first half.
Mason County (18-11) pulled to within 50-40 with 5:54 remaining in the third quarter but trailed 55-42 at the end of the quarter.
The Royals cut the gap to 58-51 with left 4:29 left in the game, but Collins answered with a 10-0 run.
The final margin was the largest of the game.
Landon Scilley scored a game-high 23 points for Mason County.
The Royals will play the Augusta Panthers on Tuesday night in the 39th District Tournament at Bracken County.
