The Mason County Lady Royals were outscored 24-6 in the second quarter and lost to the Montgomery County Lady Indians 71-38 on Thursday night in Mt. Sterling.
There was one tie and three lead changes in the first quarter. Montgomery County used the big second quarter to lead 38-17 at halftime.
The Lady Royals (12-9) were led in scoring by Amirah Reed with 10 points.
Mason County will host Bath County on Saturday afternoon.
